That would explain why the bike is in such good condition, we are talking 1981 or 82. That's about as close as I knew him, working at the grocery store and being my friends friend. The boy worked at the local small town grocery store as a teenager. Up in the next town over and one of my friends was friends with him. The person he was talking about passed away when he was a junior in high school, a tragic train/car accident. I showed the add to a friend at work who lived close to the sale (now that I look back on it, I realize it was pretty risky but kinda knew he wouldn't go after it). ![]() I kind of knew the person who owned the bike but I did not realize it at first. ![]() There is a little bit of a back story Gary. ![]()
